It’s hard to say for sure how much caffeine is in a serving of tea, due to different variables like water temperature and steeping time. However, below is a general guideline for our different tea types.
Black tea: 30-40 mg per serving, 1/2 the amount of caffeine per serving as coffee
Green tea: 20 mg per serving, 1/4 the amount of caffeine per serving as coffee
White tea: 5-10 mg per serving, 1/8 the amount of caffeine per serving as coffee
Herbal tea: caffeine free
Red tea: caffeine free
